Prior to being accepted to law school, I wasn’t sure if I even wanted to take the journey towards becoming a lawyer. After attending the National Black Pre-Law Conference and Law Fair and the National Hispanic Pre-Law Conference and Law Fair, deciding to take that journey became one of the easiest decisions I’ve ever made. All of the information available at the conference was priceless. This was truly an unforgettable event. I was able to connect with many lawyers who are new to their practice and also lawyers who have been practicing for many years.

The law fair gave me the opportunity to meet admissions representatives from law schools all over the country and to get many of my questions answered about the steps I needed to take to be accepted to law school. The panel discussions were very enlightening and opened our eyes to the many challenging aspects of law school and even the challenges for law students making the transition to lawyer in the workplace as a minority.

Going into the conference, I wasn’t sure if going to law school was something that I wanted to do, but once the conference ended, I knew for a fact that I wanted to become a lawyer. This conference was a major stepping stone for me and essential in making my decision to apply to law school. I am now proud to say that I have been accepted to law school and will be attending in the Fall of 2016.

I would recommend this conference to anyone who has always dreamed of becoming a lawyer or if you are unsure and would just like more information. The National Black Pre-Law Conference and the National Hispanic Pre-Law Conference will inspire in many ways unimaginable.
